This week we celebrated the birthday of Maria Montessori, the Day of Knowledge, which helped Montessori kindergartens and expanded the sphere of influence.
One of the important news this week is the expansion of two Wikipedia articles: about Maria Montessori and Montessori Pedagogy. This request came from Ukrainian teachers and was fulfilled by our team in one week. That was a special present for Maria’s Birthday! 😊
We also launched the Montessori alphabet project, where every week we will bring one letter associated with the term for general discussion. ❤️
Our colleagues from Germany donated to us preschool materials that were given to two kindergartens in the Kyiv region. If your institution needs Montessori materials – fill out our questionnaire – map and we will definitely try to find the necessary materials for you!
Also, our NGO initiated the collection of information on working kindergartens in Ukraine (not only Montessori but also public ones) in cooperation with international partners and the Ministry of Education!
We will receive the first results in approximately two weeks and will be able to move forward in supporting preschool children at all levels. ❤️🇺🇦
We scheduled a meeting with the CEOs of several Montessori organizations in Ukraine, such as UMC, MIMC, and Natalya Moshniaga, that represent the Austrian Academy. We hope to exchange experiences, future plans, and support for each other. ❤️🇺🇦
