1. Project Coordinator

We are excited to announce an opening for a Project Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our impactful Meeting Urgent Needs of Children and Families in War-Affected Communities: Localised Approaches Towards Integrated CP, Education and MHPSS services project. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic educational organization dedicated to open children’s and educator’s potential.

Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator will serve as the focal point for regional coordinators, receiving feedback and information from them, analyzing it, and passing it to the Project Manager, who reports to the donor organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the work of three regional coordinators and ensuring the successful implementation of project activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of three regional coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare monitoring and evaluation tools in accordance with the project’s logical framework.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Financial Manager to coordinate procurement activities and quality control of purchases.
  • Facilitate communication and information flow between regional coordinators and the Project Manager.
  • Analyze feedback and data from regional coordinators to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans and strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Represent the project at relevant meetings and events as required.
  • Prepare monthly summary reports based on the provided template, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Completion of leadership and management training courses.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership positions within educational facilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with local educational facilities to coordinate the implementation of project activities within the assigned region.
  • Collect email addresses and contact information of teachers who will participate in professional development activities.
  • Distribute digital monitoring and evaluation forms to educational facilities.
  • Coordinate the distribution of material goods and resources to educational facilities.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with local focal points to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Train school educators on the use of the “Reach Now” tool.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Ukraine Teacher Wellbeing (UTW) training to educators.
  • Prepare monthly summary reports based on the provided template, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and progress updates.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with educational facilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

This role plays a crucial part in building and maintaining the project’s brand image and reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan aligned with the project’s goals and target audiences.
  • Manage all internal and external communication channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with project team members to gather relevant information and create compelling content for various communication platforms.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  • Identify opportunities for media coverage and coordinate media relations activities, including interviews, press conferences, and media events.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize reach and engagement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and influencers to amplify the project’s message and impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication technologies to enhance the project’s communication efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
  • Strong understanding of various communication channels and platforms, including social media, websites, and multimedia content.
  • Proficiency in using design software, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing and branding principles.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
