Procurement Description

Procurement of services for the rental of a conference hall, provision of the necessary logistical and technical support, and catering services for a 4-day training event.

Venue and Service Requirements

Conference Hall:

  • Capacity: 16 persons
  • Duration of use: 4 days, 8 hours per day
  • Comfortable, well-lit space suitable for training events;
  • Availability of a shelter (basement or protective facility) within the building or in close proximity;
  • Availability of a backup power supply (generator / EcoFlow) in case of power outages.

Technical and Training Equipment:

  • Wireless internet access;
  • Multimedia projector;
  • Flipchart with paper;
  • Markers;
  • Notebooks and pens for event participants.

Catering (daily):

  • 1 lunch;
  • 2 coffee breaks.

Accommodation:

  • Accommodation for 1 person for 4 nights.

Additional Requirements

  • Inclusion of all the above-mentioned services in the financial offer;
  • Compliance with sanitary and safety requirements;
  • Ability to provide services on the agreed dates.

The public organization Montessori UA, in partnership with War Child, announces a call for applications for the position of Methodology Consolidation Specialist for School Psychologists (Trauma-Informed Approach) within the humanitarian project “Growing Stronger: Education and Child Care in Ukraine.”

Montessori UA is a nationwide educational organization that has been working for more than three years in the field of child-centered education development, teacher training, and support for families and educational communities in Ukraine.

The project aims to support:

Position Overview

The Specialist will be responsible for consolidating, adapting, and systematizing methodological materials on the trauma-informed approach for school psychologists, as well as developing training and educational materials for use within the project.

The role involves close collaboration with experts, trainers, and the project team to ensure a unified methodological approach and high quality of learning content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of existing methodologies and materials related to trauma-informed approaches for school psychologists;
  • Consolidation and adaptation of methodological materials to the context of the Ukrainian education system;
  • Development and structuring of training and educational materials (manuals, presentations, methodological guidelines);
  • Ensuring methodological coherence of materials with PSS, SEL, and child protection principles;
  • Collaboration with trainers, psychologists, and project experts;
  • Participation in the preparation of materials for training sessions and workshops;
  • Incorporation of donor requirements and sensitivity to the wartime context in the development of materials.

Candidate Requirements

  • Higher education in psychology, pedagogy, or a related field;
  • Experience working in psychological support for children and adolescents, preferably in an educational or humanitarian context;
  • Understanding of trauma-informed approaches, psychosocial support (PSS), and/or Social and Emotional Learning (SEL);
  • Experience in developing or adapting methodological and training materials;
  • Ability to structure information and work with methodologies;
  • Strong analytical and writing skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Sensitivity when working with vulnerable populations;
  • Fluency in Ukrainian;
  • Good command of English is required.

  • Supporting learning & adaptation processes (lesson learned synthesis, recommendations for improving activities);
  • Preparation of materials for internal and external audits;
  • Maintaining MEL documentation and project databases.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (MEL) in projects (preferably in humanitarian, educational, or social sectors);
  • Understanding of donor reporting requirements, indicators, logical frameworks, and results-based approaches;
  • Experience in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data;
  • Ability to work with data collection tools (questionnaires, forms, tables, databases);
  • Experience in preparing narrative and analytical reports for donors;
  • Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and ability to work with large volumes of information;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple project components simultaneously;
  • Strong analytical and writing skills;
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with project teams, trainers, and partners;
  • Experience working with humanitarian or donor-funded projects is an advantage;
  • Fluency in Ukrainian; knowledge of English (for working with donor documentation).
